This is a very unique vintage 1970’s Ernst Borel skeleton back all original mystery dial watch with original black leather band. The black leather band is marked “Ernst Borel Swiss” in gold on the back and the front has a delicate gold pattern embossed on it. The back of the left side of the band is marked “12M/ M.R”. The front of the face says “Borel” at the top and “Modele Depose. Cocktail Swiss patent.” at the bottom in gold. The mystery dial appears to be constantly moving and has red hand marks. This Ernst Borel watch has a skeleton back with a movement marked, “Ernst Borel Seventeen 17 Jewels 400”. It is also marked “Swiss unadjusted” on the movement and has “Ernst Borel Swiss” on the left outside edge of the dial. This unique mystery dial watch measures eight inches in length with a dial that measures one inch wide. This 1970’s Ernst Borel watch weighs 12.1 dwt or 18.8 grams all together. This watch is beautiful but it does need a cleaning and runs but it doesn’t keep time. This unique watch is sure to be a conversation starter!
